Poor Star was surrendered to a local animal shelter when her owners could no longer care for her. And yes, she was late-stage pregnant :( Stars puppies were born on Oct 5th!! 9 healthy, happy puppies! Star will need to remain with her puppies until they are at least 8 weeks old and then she will be spayed, as will the puppies. She will be looking for her forever home starting in early December and she'll be worth the wait!! Star is turning out to be a true Super "STAR!" She is such a sweet dog, very submissive and friendly, and she is currently being fostered with another female dog and they are getting along wonderfully. Although we prefer any other dogs in her home be male. She is even gentle with the kittens :) Although, she is really more into her peeps than the other dog :) She just wants to be loved! Star is housebroken, well mannered, pretty laid back and just an EASY dog to have around. If you're looking for low maintenance, Star is your Star!
